1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Licensly ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Licensly tracks business licenses and permits you enter and sends renewal reminders. The Service is informational and is provided as a convenience. It is your responsibility to verify renewal deadlines, fees, and requirements with the issuing authority.

3. Account responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@licensly.us if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to access data belonging to other users.
• Do not abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
• Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes.

5. No legal advice

Licensly is not a law firm and does not provide legal, tax, or compliance advice. Information in the catalog is provided "as is" and may be incomplete or out of date. Always confirm with the issuing authority before acting.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Licensly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any missed deadlines, lost permits, fines, or business interruption arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (or USD $50 if you have not paid us anything).

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Licensly is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
